...New UPDATE, AVIATION...
.UPDATE...
Issued at 815 PM EST Tue Nov 12 2024
No change to existing forecast reasoning. Trend of above normal
temps looks to continue despite a weak front dropping across the
area tonight. Four record high temps were set or tied at climate
sites across our area today, and a few record high minimum temps
may be challenged Wednesday morning before slightly cooler and
drier air works its way into the peninsula in the wake of the
front. High pressure centered over the NE U.S. strengthens and
builds down the E Seaboard and into the state during Wednesday
providing breezy easterly winds across the area in response to the
tightened gradient, particularly in the afternoon before
diminishing into the evening, with partly cloudy skies and highs
generally in the mid 80s.

.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 132 PM EST Tue Nov 12 2024
The quiet weather with near record breaking temperatures is
continuing for today with highs once again near 90 degrees. This is
due to a strong high pressure in the Atlantic.
A weak cold front will be pushing through tonight. This front will
manage to dry us out a little bit and bring our temperatures down
slightly. However, we will still stay above average in the mid 80`s
but just wont be seeing the record breaking temperatures anymore.
This trend will continue until Friday when a more significant cold
front comes through.
Friday`s cold front doesn`t look to have any rainfall with it but
should finally bring temperatures temperatures back to average for
afternoon highs and cooler overnight lows around 60 degrees. By
early next week the cooler airmass with start to modify and
temperatures will slowly start to warm up each day.

.AVIATION...
(00Z TAFS)
Issued at 635 PM EST Tue Nov 12 2024
Dry VFR expected through the period with easterly flow as high
pressure over the E Seaboard influences conditions across local
area terminals. Tightening gradient Wednesday will lead to winds
10-15 knots with gusts to 20-25 knots mainly late morning through
afternoon before diminishing in the evening.
&&
.MARINE...
Issued at 132 PM EST Tue Nov 12 2024
Our northeast to easterly winds will continue through the
period with no rain showers expected. The big change we will see
will be an increase of winds starting late on Tuesday. This is due
to the pressure gradient tightening across the area. This will bring
winds up to around 20 knots by Tuesday night bringing small craft
&&
.FIRE WEATHER...
Issued at 132 PM EST Tue Nov 12 2024
Typical fall conditions across the area with RHs dipping
down to the 50`s each afternoon. Winds will remain out of the east
and northeast through the period and will be increasing for Tuesday
