Seasonably warm, dry, and breezy conditions will continue through
Thursday with a pattern change expected from late Thursday
onward. Daytime minimum humidity values into the teens to lower
20s are anticipated alongside poor to limited overnight recovery,
with some single digits possible in the northern Sacramento Valley
today. The combination of dry and breezy weather will result in
Elevated Fire Weather conditions through Thursday for the Burney
Basin and northeast foothills as well as portions of the northern
Sacramento Valley and northern San Joaquin Valley. The pattern
change late week into the weekend will see cooler temperatures,
breezier onshore winds, and improving humidity alongside shower
and isolated thunderstorm chances Friday and Saturday. Primarily
wet thunderstorms are anticipated, with highest chances along the
Sierra from Interstate 80 southward on Friday.
