.SYNOPSIS...
Dry weather continues into next week. Brief period of elevated
fire weather conditions over the Coastal Range tonight. Slight
cooldown expected through the weekend with periods on breezy
onshore flow. Warming trend by Tuesday, followed by widespread
Moderate HeatRisk on Wednesday.

-Near normal high temperatures across the region today.
--Probability of Valley High Temperatures > 90F:
---Northern/Central Sacramento Valley: 60-95%
---Delta, S. Sacramento Valley, N. San Joaquin Valley: 35-65%
-Breezy onshore flow, strongest in the Delta and vicinity during
the afternoon and evening.
-Locally poor over the Coastal Range tonight may bring a period
of elevated fire weather conditions.
* Thursday-Monday:
-Gradual cooling trend expected through the remainder of the
week. Primarily Minor HeatRisk as temperatures become more
seasonable.
-Probability of Valley High Temperatures > 90F:
--Northern/Central Sacramento Valley: 30-60% Fri-Sat, 40-80%

--Delta, S. Sacramento Valley, N. San Joaquin Valley: 20-45%

-Onshore flow expected to persist with periods of breezy winds,
mainly in the afternoons and evenings and strongest across the
Delta and vicinity. Breezy westerlies over the Sierra.
* Tuesday-Wednesday:
- Above normal temperatures with areas of Moderate HeatRisk by
Wednesday. Potential for triple digit heat in the northern
Sacramento Valley; low to upper 90s in other Valley locations.

-Breezy northerly winds have been trended weaker for Tuesday.

.AVIATION...
VFR conditions with mostly clear skies are expected to continue
at TAF sites over the next 24 hours. Surface winds will generally
below 12 kts over the northern Sacramento Valley, through are
expected to be greater than 12 kts after 21z today through 12z for
the Delta area, with gusts up to 25 kts. The southern Sacramento
Valley and northern San Joaquin Valley could see sustained winds
up to 12 kts after 00z, with gusts to 15-20 kts through 06z this
evening.
