Upper low pressure system will bring a 15% to 30% chance of
mountain (mainly crest) showers and thunderstorms through
Thursday, best chance on Wednesday. Expect some breezy conditions
north Valley Friday otherwise temperatures will be seasonable this
weekend in the lower to mid 70s warming to the upper 70s by early
next week.
.Key Messages...
* Except for isolated minor impacts from a 15% to 25% of mountain
thunderstorms this evening and again on Wednesday...little to
no impacts expects expected through early next week.
* A few thunderstorms may produce locally heavy rain this
afternoon and again on Wednesday...but chance of that is low in
the 15 to 30% range.
* Friday:
-Probability of northerly Wind Gusts > 30 mph:
-Friday: 40-80%, highest along and west of the Interstate
5 corridor

VFR conditions expected over the next 24 hours at TAF sites with
winds generally light and less than 12 kts. Except in and around
the Delta with westerly gusts 15 to 25 kts through 09Z Thursday.
Valley winds also pick up with gusts 15 to 20 kts starting around
00z Thursday. Additionally, there is a 10-20% chance of isolated
mountain thunderstorms this afternoon (through 03Z Wednesday)
mainly over the Sierra (and again tomorrow, from 19Z-03Z
Wednesday).
