through early this week. Trend toward well above normal
temperatures anticipated this week, with Moderate HeatRisk and
areas of Major HeatRisk expected. Otherwise, elevated fire weather
conditions at times, especially during breezier periods as low
humidity and marginal recovery persists.

with areas of Minor HeatRisk.
-Breezier onshore winds expected today
-Probability of South- Southwest Wind Gusts > 30 mph:

-Potential elevated fire weather conditions today with breezier
winds expected.
* Tuesday - Thursday:
-Warming trend this week, with areas of Moderate HeatRisk
expected in the Valley.

-Periods of breezy winds and low humidity could bring elevated

with near to record high temperatures by Friday.

-Probability of Valley high temperatures > 100F:
--Friday: 45-80%, highest north of Interstate 80.
--Saturday: 45-75%, highest north of Interstate 80.
-Limited overnight relief expected late next week across the
northern/central Sacramento and northern San Joaquin valleys.
-Probability of Valley low temperatures Friday night > 65F:
40-85%, highest north of I-80.
-Hot temperatures along with very low humidity and periodically
breezy winds could lead to elevated fire weather conditions.
-Slight, 5-15%, chance of isolated mountain showers/thunderstorms

Wednesday and next weekend, mainly south of I-80.

.AVIATION...
VFR conditions expected to prevail next 24 hours. Breezy westerly
winds are expected to gust 20 to 30 kts through the Delta with
southerly winds gusting 15 to 25 kts in the Sacramento Valley and
west to northwesterly winds gusting 15 to 25 kts in the Northern
San Joaquin Valley. Over the mountains, west to southwesterly
winds will gust up to 25 kts. Winds are forecast to weaken after
12Z Monday with surface winds around or below 12 kts. Southwest
winds pick up again through the Delta by 19Z Monday with gusts 15
to 20 kts.
