.SYNOPSIS...High pressure begins to shift into the region this
weekend, strengthening through next week. This will result in dry
conditions and high temperatures warming to above seasonable
levels tomorrow through next week.

.DISCUSSION...Satellite imagery this morning showed a clear sky
across southern Arizona under dry NW flow aloft. Highs today will
be slightly warmer, around 1 to 4 degrees, than yesterday. Warmup
will continue tomorrow and through all of next week as upper
ridge west of California gradually builds in over the area from
the west. Highs up to 5 degrees above normal tomorrow, up to 10
degrees above normal Monday then 10 to 14 degrees above normal
Tuesday through Friday with a few locals near records highs next
Friday.

.AVIATION...Valid through 07/12Z.
SKC. SFC winds vrbl and terrain driven less than 8 kts thru
06/17z and then again after 07/04z. At other times, SFC winds
WLY/NWLY 8-12 kts. Aviation discussion not updated for TAF
amendments.

.FIRE WEATHER...Dry conditions are expected the next 7 days. A
warming trend starts this weekend where highs will run up to 5
degrees above normal. Much warmer next week where highs will be 8
to 12 degrees above normal. 20-foot winds will generally be 15 mph
or less and terrain driven through the middle of next week.
Minimum RH values in the valleys 16-26 percent this weekend and
through the middle of next week.
