By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday trough located on a line north-south
over eastern Newfoundland.
At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over the southeastern Grand Banks.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today departing ridge located southeast of the
Grand Banks.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:55 AM NDT 15 July 2026 A trough of low pressure over the Gulf of St. Lawrence is expected to
slowly track eastward across the marine district throughout the
forecast period. Strong to gale force southerlies are expected ahead
of the trough.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Coast, East Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
