Issued 8:00 PM ADT 14 July 2026 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight intensifying trough located from Anticosti
Island to the Gulf of Maine.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Wednesday trough located from Banquereau to
Georges Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:34 PM ADT 14 July 2026 A trough of low pressure from Anticosti to the Gulf of Maine will
intensify as it tracks across the Maritimes tonight to lie over
southeastern waters Wednesday afternoon. Strong southwest winds will
strengthen to gale force over southeastern waters on Wednesday ahead
of the approaching trough.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, Sable, East Scotian Slope,
Banquereau, and Laurentian Fan.
