* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Glenmora.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Some roads upstream from Glenmora,
including Strothers Crossing Road near the community of Calcasieu
and Price Crossing Road near Hineston have two to three feet of
water over the road and are subject to being closed. Flooding of
forested areas near the river will also occur.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 PM CST Saturday the stage was 12.8 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:45 PM CST Saturday was 12.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.5
feet Tuesday morning.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

Fish Camp and approaching sea wall at Blair`s Jungle Den. Water
approaching sites closest to the river at Fish Tales RV Resort and
Astor Landing Campground. Portion of Clair Street covered by river
water south of the Butler Boat Ramp. Docks underwater at the Astor
Bridge Marina and along Riveredge Drive. Portions of Fox Road are
covered with water nearest to the river. Acorn, Hazelnut and
Redbud roads are underwater with yards inundated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 PM EST Saturday the stage was 2.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 2.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:30 PM EST Saturday was 2.7 feet.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:45 PM PST Saturday the stage was 113.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 114.0 feet.
- Forecast...Forecast to fluctuate near 114.0 FT into just
after midnight tonight then forecast to fall below monitor
stage of 110.0 FT early tomorrow afternoon then forecast to
recede to near 102.0 FT Monday morning then forecast to rise
to near 102.5 FT Monday afternoon with continued rise
expected.
* Impact...Near 113.8 feet, Design overflow level for M&T,
3Bs and Goose Lake flood control facilities to divert flood
flows into Butte Basin. M&T overflows close River Road from
Ord Ferry Road to Chico Road. Ord Ferry Road is already
closed.
Near 114.0 feet, Designated flood stage left bank.
Near 110.3 feet, Head cuts in 3Bs silt weir start overflow
into Butte Basin, flooding dips on Ord Ferry Road west of
River Road. Persistent flows at or above this level increase
flooding in Butte Basin. Ord Ferry Road and additional roads
in Glenn and Colusa counties are closed due to flooding.
- Flood stage is 114.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
114.1 feet on 01/03/2002.
