A upper-level ridge of high pressure is expected to set up over
northwest Mexico and move over the southern United States early this
week, which will bring significantly warmer-than-average
temperatures to much of the CONUS through the holidays. Deep South
Texas is no exception, where unseasonably warm, dry weather is
expected through at least the end of the week.  High temperatures
should be in the 80s throughout the week, with low temperatures
getting down into the mid-60s. Winds are expected to be
southeasterly and light to moderate, and skies should remain clear
to partly cloudy. Because of the light winds and the radiational
cooling at night due to a lack of cloud cover, patchy fog is
expected to develop throughout the region in the early morning
hours for the next few days.

Conditions are expected to be overall VFR through the afternoon
into the evening. Tonight, patchy fog should develop again around
07z which should reduce conditions to IFR and possibly LIFR. This
fog should begin lifting again by 15-16z. Winds should be
southeasterly and could become gusty at times this afternoon,
tapering off by evening.

Marine conditions should be favorable throughout the week.  Light to
moderate southeasterly winds are expected along with low to moderate
seas.
