April 2011 Super Outbreak 3 Day Outlook Today Tonight Tomorrow Daily Climate Smoky Mtn Observations

Today, we take a look back 14 years ago to this day - The 2011 Super Outbreak. During a 24-hour period, there were over 50 tornadoes across the forecast area with several long-track strong tornadoes. Besides the tornadoes, widespread damaging hail up to the size of baseballs and damaging winds were reported. A map within the graphic shows all of the confirmed tracks of the tornadoes.
