The FDR is an overall rating of the danger of fire starting and spreading based on current weather and fuel conditions.

Color	Value	Category	Description
	Low	Low	Fuels do not ignite readily. Little danger from fire. Fires in deep duff may smoulder.
	Moderate	Moderate	Fires start easily from embers and run readily. General fire danger.
	High	High	Fires start easily. Spread rapidly. Difficult to control without aerial support.
	Very High	Very High	Fires start very easily. Spread very rapidly. Very difficult to control.
	Extreme	Extreme	Fires start extremely easily. Uncontrollable. Maximum danger to life and property.
