Rainy weekend

The remnants of tropical storm Fay will continue to affect the province of Quebec today. Rain associated with this system will give total rainfall amounts of 20 to 40 millimetres over some areas of Southern and Central Quebec. Nevertheless, some of these areas could receive total rainfall amounts exceeding 50 millimetres locally with the additional contribution of thunderstorms that may accompany this system.

Precipitation will taper off during the day on Sunday.
