9:45 PM EDT Sunday 29 March 2020 Special weather statement in effect for:
Montmagny - Saint-Jean-Port-Joli area
Saint-Fabien - Saint-Pamphile area
A low pressure system from United States will continue to affect the province of Quebec until Monday. Snowfall amounts of up to 15 centimetres are possible over Central Quebec. However, precipitation amounts could vary widely depending on the area as temperatures will be near the freezing mark. Some regions near and south of the St. Lawrence River could mainly see 5 to 10 centimetres of snow, while up to 15 centimetres may fall locally over higher terrain.
Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult locally.
