3:58 AM EDT Saturday 28 March 2020 Special weather statement in effect for:
Côte-de-Beaupré - L'Île d'Orléans area
Valcartier - Stoneham area
A low pressure system from the United States will affect the province of Quebec Sunday and Monday. Snowfall amounts of more than 15 centimetres are possible for Central Quebec. However, precipitation amounts could greatly vary according to region as temperatures will be near the freezing mark. Some areas near and south of the St. Lawrence river could see primarily rain, while snowfall amounts of 25 centimetres will likely be locally over higher terrain.
Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult in some areas.
