Issued 8:00 PM NST 14 November 2024 Tonight and Friday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over southwestern Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Friday departing trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over Cape Breton Island.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight low 985 mb located south of Laurentian Fan.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Friday low 987 mb located off Cape Breton Island.


Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:43 PM NST 14 November 2024 A trough of low pressure over Southwestern Newfoundland will turn
southwestward and depart over the Maritimes tonight. Strong to gale
force northeasterly winds will shift to easterly to southeasterly in
its wake.

Meanwhile, a low pressure system south of Laurentian Fan will track
northward to lie over Banquereau later on Friday. Strong to gale
force northeasterly to southeasterly winds will persist over most
waters ahead of and around the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
