Isle Bank.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Saturday low 992 mb located over the South
Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 p.m. NST today quasi-stationary ridge located over western
Labrador.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:56 PM NST 6 February 2026 A low pressure system northeast of Belle Isle Bank will slowly track
westward across the South Labrador Sea tonight and Saturday. Strong
to gale force northeast to northwesterlies will continue spreading
over most waters ahead of the system tonight with gale to storm force
east to southeasterlies expected in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except Lake Melville.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all regions with open water except East Labrador Sea.
