At 9:30 a.m. NST today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Labrador.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:19 AM NST 22 December 2025 A low pressure system over Belle Isle Bank will track east today.
Gale force northwesterlies over the South Labrador Coast in the wake
of the low will diminish to strong tonight as the low departs.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
South Labrador Coast.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Lake Melville and East Labrador Sea.
