Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:23 AM ADT 23 April 2024 A departing low pressure system over Southern Labrador will continue to give strong to gale force westerlies over northern Gulf waters into this morning. Meanwhile, an approaching low pressure system will move from west to east over the southern marine district, and will give strong to gale force southerlies to southeastern waters.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Anticosti - eastern half and Laurentian Fan - eastern half.
A freezing spray warning is in effect for Anticosti.
