Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:21 PM PST 23 December 2025 An Arctic ridge over the BC Interior will continue to give gale to storm force outflow winds through the north and Central Coast inlets through Wednesday morning.
A low will approach Washington state Wednesday to lie over Southern BC late Wednesday. Ahead of the low, gale force outflow Will develop tonight over Howe Sound. Strong to gale force easterly winds will develop over Juan de Fuca Strait overnight then shift to westerly behind the low. There remains uncertainty in the forecast with this system and stronger winds may be possible.
