Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:19 AM NDT 5 April 2026 A low pressure system east of Greenland will weaken and depart this afternoon. Meanwhile, a ridge of high pressure over Central Labrador will drift eastward across the district. Any lingering gale force northwesterlies over the East Labrador Sea will diminish today as the low departs and the ridge moves in.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for East Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in effect for South Labrador Sea and East Labrador Sea.
