Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:47 AM NDT 21 June 2025 A low pressure system over the Gulf of St. Lawrence will track northeastward to lie over Belle Isle Bank tonight. Strong to gale force northeasterlies over southern waters ahead of the low will shift to strong to gale force north to northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Lake Melville, South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast - Hopedale and south, and South Labrador Sea - southeastern half.
