Issued 3:30 PM NDT 5 April 2026 Tonight and Monday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today ridge located east of Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday departing ridge located east of the Marine
District.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough located over Maine.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Monday trough located on a line northwest-southeast
over Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:23 PM NDT 5 April 2026 A trough of low pressure will approach from the southwest and cross
Newfoundland early Monday then Belle Isle Bank late Monday.
Gale force southerlies to southeasterlies will spread across the
marine district ahead of the trough then shift to strong to gale
force southwesterlies in the wake of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, and Belle Isle
Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and Northern Grand Banks.
