Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:45 PM NDT 24 June 2026 A deepening low pressure system over Southwestern Newfoundland will track northeastward, crossing Newfoundland overnight. Strong southeast to southwesterlies ahead of the low will become strong to gale force northerlies to westerlies in its wake on Thursday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis, Funk Island Bank, and Northern Grand Banks.
