By 8:00 p.m. NDT Wednesday low 1005 mb located over the Avalon
Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:52 PM NDT 4 August 2026 A low pressure system over the Quebec Lower North Shore will track
slowly eastward to lie over Newfoundland on Wednesday. Strong to gale
force southwesterlies south of the low will diminish later tonight as
the low weakens.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port.
