northwest-southeast over Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday trough from 999 mb low located on a
line northwest-southeast over the South Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:50 AM NDT 25 August 2026 A deepening low pressure system over Northern Quebec and an
associated trough extending along the Labrador coast will slowly
track eastward across the district today and Wednesday. Gale force
southeasterlies will develop this evening over easternmost waters
ahead of these features.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea.
