Issued 4:00 AM NST 22 December 2025 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 a.m. NST today low 997 mb located over western Belle
Isle Bank.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Tuesday low 991 mb located east of Belle Isle Bank.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Labrador.


Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:55 AM NST 22 December 2025 A low pressure system over Western Belle Isle Bank will track across
Belle Isle Bank today. Gale force northwesterlies will develop this
morning over the South Labrador Coast in the wake of the low.
Winds will diminish to strong tonight as the low departs.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
South Labrador Coast.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Lake Melville and East Labrador Sea.
