Issued 10:30 AM PST 2 February 2026 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:30 a.m. PST today trough located over Queen Charlotte Sound.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today departing trough located over BC interior.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today frontal system located west of the offshore
waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Tuesday frontal system located from Haida Gwaii
to Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:05 AM PST 2 February 2026 A trough brings strong to gale force southeasterly and southwesterly
winds to the central and southern waters today before it moves into
Interior British Columbia this afternoon.

An intense Pacific frontal system offshore will move eastward across
the marine regions tonight and on Tuesday spreading gale to storm
force southeasterly winds over much of the outer waters.
