Issued 9:30 PM PST 17 December 2025 Tonight and Thursday At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight low located over northern Bowie.
By 9:30 p.m. PST Thursday weakening low located over the North
Coast.
At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight low 994 mb located southwest of Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Thursday departing low located over the southern
Strait of Georgia.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:05 PM PST 17 December 2025 A low pressure centre will remain over northern waters tonight.
To its south, strong to gale force southwesterlies will persist
across most outer waters tonight.
Another low pressure centre will track across Southern Explorer
Thursday morning and Vancouver Island in the afternoon. Ahead of the
low, gale force southeasterlies will develop Thursday morning over
the inner South Coast. In its wake, strong to gale force westerlies
will develop over Explorer midday Thursday and then spread to the
inner South Coast in the afternoon.
