Issued 3:00 AM AST 29 November 2022 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 3:00 a.m. AST today departing low 982 mb located east of
Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. AST today ridge located over New England.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Wednesday ridge located over the central Marine
District.

At 3:30 p.m. AST Wednesday approaching trough located from Ontario
to New England.


Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:29 AM AST 29 November 2022 A low pressure system east of Newfoundland will continue to track
northeastward away from the marine district today. A ridge of high
pressure over New England will move eastward to lie over the central
marine district tonight and over eastern waters Wednesday afternoon.
Strong to gale force northwesterlies will diminish as the ridge
approaches and will become light in its vicinity.

A trough of low pressure will move to lie from Ontario to New England
Wednesday afternoon. Over western waters, strong to gale force
southerlies will develop ahead of this trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern
shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, Banquereau, Cabot Strait,
Gulf-Magdalen and Anticosti.

Outlook for the start of the Southwest Nova lobster fishery.

Lfa33: winds north 20 knots diminishing to north 15 this morning
And to light this afternoon. Seas 2 metres diminishing to 1 metre
late this afternoon.

Lfa34: winds north 25 knots diminishing to north 15 this morning and
to light near noon. Seas 2 metres diminishing to 1 metre late in the
afternoon.

Lfa33: winds light increasing to southeast 15 knots in the morning
and to southeast 25 in the afternoon. Seas 1 metre increasing to
1 to 2 in the afternoon.
