Issued 8:00 PM AST 17 December 2025 Tonight and Thursday At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight trough located over Anticosti Island.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Thursday departing trough located from Newfoundland
to Georges Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. AST Thursday approaching ridge located over the Gulf
of Maine.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:50 PM AST 17 December 2025 A trough of low pressure over Anticosti Island will continue
southeastward and cross the marine district overnight. Strong to gale
force southwesterlies ahead of the trough will shift to strong to
gale force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Northumberland Strait and Chaleur - Miscou.

Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Anticosti - northwestern half.
