Alert Details:
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Southwest California, including the following
county, San Diego.

* WHEN...Until 1023 PM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 825 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hwy 78 Between Borrego Springs Rd And Ocotillo Wells, Fish
Creek Wash, Ocotillo Wells and Ocotillo Wells Vehicular Rec
Area.

Alert Details:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Southwest California, including the following
counties, Riverside and San Diego.

* WHEN...Until 930 PM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become
impassable. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring
or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 732 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.25 and 1.25 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Temecula, Vista, southern Lake Elsinore, Poway, Ramona,
Valley Center, Fallbrook, Hemet, Escondido and Murrieta.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

expected, primarily for south to southwest facing beaches.

* WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County
Coastal Areas.

* WHEN...Through 2 AM Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong rip currents will create hazardous swimming
conditions.
