.DISCUSSION...
KEY MESSAGE 1)

Northwest flow aloft with a large area of surface high pressure
building southeast across the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley thru the
week. This high will offer cooler and dry conditions thru Friday.
Expect abundant sunshine with pleasant highs in the upper 70s to the
lower 80s today, slowly warming to the lower and middle 80s Friday.
These readings are close to 5 degrees below normal today and Thursday
and close to normal Friday.

A system digging southeast in the flow will offer the first threat
for showers and thunderstorms late Friday night. Precipitation
chances look to increase Saturday as the low tracks thru the Ohio
Valley. As this system meanders thru the region precipitation chances
continue Sunday and into early next week.

&&

.AVIATION /12Z WEDNESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY/...
Surface high pressure is providing mostly clear sky conditions this
more with the exception of some patches of clouds between 25000 and
4000 feet. These clouds may produce brief MVFR to VFR ceilings early.
Otherwise, some patchy river valley fog at KLUK will improve quickly
with VFR conditions thru the day into this evening. Expect some
scattered VFR cu during the day. Valley fog is again expected at KLUK
tonight.

OUTLOOK...MVFR to IFR conditions are possible at times Saturday and
Sunday in addition to thunderstorms.
