- Quiet Weather into Next Week

Surface high pressure and dry north flow will dominate the weather
over the next week with no rain expected until the end of next
week. An Omega block will be across North America with Lower
Michigan in between an upper high across central Canada and
troughing across eastern Canada into the NE CONUS.

Weak frontal passages occur tonight and again Sunday night but
there is no moisture available until return flow sets up by next
Thursday. A cold front sagging down from the northwest could
focus showers and perhaps a thunderstorm Thursday night into
Saturday before it clears Lower Michigan and high pressure builds
in behind it.
