.PREV DISCUSSION...
SHORT TERM...Tonight through Sunday night...A quasi-stationary
front over eastern OR and western ID is expected to slowly push
out east tonight and over the weekend. A strong upper ridge over
the four corners region will build into the area tomorrow and
Sunday, creating a drying and warming trend. Daytime valley
temperatures are expected to reach the mid to upper 80s on
Saturday and in the upper 80s to lower 90s on Sunday. Winds will
generally be W-NW 5-10 mph and up to 20 mph gusts for most
areas on Saturday and Sunday.

LONG TERM...Monday through Friday...Partly cloudy, breezy, and
cooler in Oregon Monday as a dry Pacific cold front moves
through. Still very warm in Idaho ahead of the front. Another
weak Pacific cold front will pass through Tuesday with all areas
cooling to normal or slightly below. Sunny and warmer Wednesday
and Thursday under dry southwest flow aloft. Breezy and cooler
again Friday, especially in Oregon, as a deep upper low from the
Gulf of Alaska approaches the northwest coast.
