.SHORT TERM...Today through Sunday night...Southwest flow
remains over the area with a stationary front from central OR to
northern ID. This front will be the focus of isolated showers
and thunderstorms today, mainly over Baker County and north of
McCall ID. The upper level ridge over NM and AZ expands
northward on Saturday and Sunday with dry conditions and
slightly warmer temperatures on Sunday. Temperatures on Sunday
will be around 10 degrees above normal.

.LONG TERM...Monday through Friday...Deterministic models have a
weak shortwave moving through the area on Monday, with a chance
of showers and thunderstorms, but this isn`t reflected in the
forecast yet. Ensembles show dry conditions continuing through
the extended period with no precipitation and temperatures 5-10
degrees above normal. After Saturday, models are in good
agreement of bringing a trough through the area with much cooler
temperatures.

.AVIATION...VFR. Isolated showers, mainly near KBKE. Surface
winds: SW-NW 5-15kt increasing to 10-20kt during the afternoon.

KBOI...VFR. NW wind 5-10kt.

Weekend Outlook...VFR. Surface winds SW-NW 10-20kt in the
afternoons. Light winds at night.
