Air pollution can affect your health in different ways, from minor symptoms such as a scratchy throat, to more serious symptoms such as difficulty breathing or heart problems.
The AQHI is an initiative of Environment Canada and Health Canada. The AQHI forecast in Quebec is made possible, in part, by data from the air quality monitoring networks of the ministère de l'Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques du Québec and the City of Montréal.
